Two Saturdays ago, I had a little family date at Raystown Lake.
We didn't bring our swimming gear, so we took a walk and savored the beauty of the beach, lake, and trees.
We decided to follow this dirt path around the lake.
Eliza loved the small flowers that we found (and being with Daddy).
The lake was just gorgeous. It made Kenny feel at home (Montana boy).
Eliza and I took a ten minute break at an old (and fun looking) wooden playground while Kenny checked the map.
This baby sure loves to climb, crawl, and explore.
She was ready to sail away.
And she just kept giggling.
On our way to our next stop, we saw this funny pen of goats. The black and white goat stared right at me.
We did a little hiking (I love being enshrouded in trees ).
And found a nice bike trail. (We tried it out and it was harder than it looked; we dodged a couple trees.)
This is the first of many hiking/biking adventures that we plan to have this summer. :)
