Aycock Eternal Family Anniversary #4

Four years ago today, Kenny and I walked outside the doors of the Nauvoo temple hand in hand. Our loved ones surrounded us and congratulated us as we had just made covenants with God to be married for this life and the life to come. Two and a half years later, our eternal family expanded to three as our precious daughter was born.
I am excited today to not only celebrate the day I was married, but also the day my own eternal family was formed.

It is the gospel of Jesus Christ that provides the foundation upon which we can find lasting peace and build eternal family units.
L. Tom Perry

The happy home is one where the family lives together, works together, plays together, and prays together; where the parents show love and courtesy and demonstrate it to each other.
N. Eldon Tanner

The next morning about 4:00 a.m., I was awakened as I felt two little arms around my neck, a kiss on the cheek, and these words whispered in my ear, which I will never forget: “Dad, I love you. You are my best friend.”
If you are having that kind of experience in your family, you are having one of the supernal joys of life.
Richard G. Scott

The doctrine of the family begins with heavenly parents. Our highest aspiration is to be like them.
Robert D. Hales

The plan of the Father is that family love and companionship will continue into the eternities. Being one in a family carries a great responsibility of caring, loving, lifting, and strengthening each member of the family so that all can righteously endure to the end in mortality and dwell together throughout eternity.
Robert D. Hales

Our homes are next to the temple in sacredness. They are an uplifting refuge, in which we instruct our families as to what the Lord expects of us.
Ted E. Brewerton

Life is eternal. The god of heaven has also made possible eternal love and eternal family relationships. God bless our dear young people that as they look forward to marriage, they may look not only for rewarding companionship and rich and fruitful family relationships through all of their mortal days, but to an even better estate where love and treasured associations may be felt and known under a promise given of God.
President Gordon B. Hinckley

Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of Jesus Christ.
