Fried Marble Giveaway

Giveaway for this fried marble necklace and earring set starting today and ending Friday at noon!

To enter, answer this question on the blog or Facebook post.
"Who is someone who has inspired you and why?"
There will be a random drawing for the winner on Friday at noon.

I love these fried marble necklaces and earrings. They look so mystical! Read more about them on my post Wiseman Treasures and shop for more fried marble jewelry on Etsy. Also, visit the Wiseman Treasures Facebook page here.

Yesterday, we had a special LDS Stake Conference where several apostles spoke to our region. My favorite quote was from Elder Robert D. Hales who told us to "ponder after we pray" because that is when we can receive inspiration. I definitely feel a peace when I give myself time to ponder each day. It is like it gives Heavenly Father a chance to speak back to me since I speak to him when I pray.
Here is a talk where President Thomas S. Monson testifies of pondering the path (figuratively) that our Savior Jesus Christ walked.

I am so excited to see your responses and have a wonderful Monday!

  1. Spencer W. Kimball is someone who has inspired me, because even though he was a prophet of God, (and obviously if God loves you life is easy and you prosper in all things) he suffered serious trials in his earthly life. He had throat Cancer back when everyone considered it a death sentence, and that alone would have been so frightening to me, and yet he never faltered.... and when they told him that he needed to have all of his vocal cords removed to get rid of the cancer, he refused, saying, "not all of them. I need to be able to speak to the people." and speak he did. His counsel, given with a voice barely over a whisper was such a strength to me... and knowing that this beloved son of God, a prophet, chosen by the most high God, could have such trials makes it so when trials come to me, I still know that God loves me. His life inspires me to try harder every day, to lengthen my stride and work hard to build a strong Latter Day Saint Family. Jennifer Wilson

  2. My husband, Zach, is an inspiration to me. He puts up with me and helps me through all of my hard days, by helping me know he loves me and that I need to turn to the Lord. He is always there for me, especially when I need it most. He is a hard worker and is always trying to make sure that I am happy! I love him and am so grateful to have him and others in my life who have also inspired me!
