Despite it being a wet, rainy day, we took Eliza for a quick walk to the park.
She, of course, goes right for the dirty snow.
And goes for it again.
She was so proud of herself when she climbed up the play set.
Truly elated.
The swings weren't nearly as exciting.
It was a fun twenty minutes!
Later, we went to a farewell party for Eli and Chiara. Kenny and I got a special cake decorated with an inferior vena cava since that is what they studied. I know, we are so thoughtful.
They, however, loved it!
We had some delicious Italian food with three courses.
Eliza had fun with Vivianna and Silvia.
We also made some awesome new friends (not pictured) and finished the celebration with sparklers because why not?
It's sad to see them go. We'll meet up again in Italy. Addio!
