An eventful yet uneventful month. We played in the leaves and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather. We enjoyed listening to General Conference. We watched Harry Potter and lots of fun Halloween movies, like The Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus, read Halloween books, and made lots of Halloween crafts. The kids also had a monster party after reading Where The Wild Things Are. Our first snow came with hours of play. Eliza turned seven and had a fairy birthday party with lots of fun fairy gifts and a sparkly cake. Halloween day was fun with Young Frankenstein the night before, a skeleton relish tray, spider seven layer dip, candy corn bingo, and the kids trick or treating in the backyard with Grandpa scaring them in the root cellar. About mid-month, I had a bleeding scare and had to spend the day in the hospital. Luckily, no blood since then and hopefully baby Ru will stay in there for a few more weeks at least! We are looking forward to Thanksgiving, the beginning of celebrating Christmas, and the arrival of baby Ruby!
