Alaska Frontier 2018

Things I loved about my cruise to Alaska (in no particular order):

1. the whale flipping its tail and blowing bubbles in front of our balcony
2. the bald eagles
3. the breathtaking bluish ice: Mendanhall Glaciers
4. the hike to Nugget Falls and the water spraying my face
5. watching the sunset at Eagle Beach Park
6. the ship rocking me to sleep (and making me lose my balance every five seconds)
7. the pistachio crème brulee
8. finding "hiding places" on the ship
9. playing pinocle with my in-laws
10. the aqua water of the bay
11. the marshmallow caramel brownie cheesecake
12. getting to the top of Upper Dewey Mountain (though I was ready to kill Kenny after three hours of a steep climb (3,000 feet!))
13. Kenny trying to dry my wet, muddy socks by slapping them onto a table
14. eating a dough boy and making fun of the pot shop across the street
15. my in-laws telling the waiter that they shouldn't have let me in because of my dirty feet (from the mountain hike)
16. creaming Kenny in air hockey and riding the virtual reality roller coaster in the arcade
17. freezing and then sinking into the warmth of the hot tub
18. the singing, dancing, trapeze couple
19. shopping!
20. prank calling our in-laws' room and imitating our cruise director, Dingo Dave
21. walking through rainy Ketchikan
22. the adorable sea otters swimming past us in a little stream
23. the super cool totem poles!
24. dancing with Kenny at the White Hot Party
25. the towel animals
26. the time to plough through almost five books
27. in-law bantering all week
28. the beach stones in British Columbia
29. kissing Kenny
30. warm baths
31. shuffleboard
32. peanut butter cup cheesecake
33. the little tugboat in the nighttime lights
