Moments to Remember: January 2018

January started off slow and then gained momentum. We were sick for two weeks but took the opportunity to clean and organize our house. It has been much easier staying on top of laundry, tidying, dishes, and making dinners since.
Eliza started ballet and loves it. Joseph is so close to walking. He loves balls and playing with the cats.
I made a preschool curriculum for the rest of the year. Eliza and I did the first lesson yesterday. The curriculum has objectives that focus on preparing for kindergarten. I use a lot of classic texts like Aesop's Fables and Mother Goose.
Kenny and I booked a cruise to Alaska and are psyched for our adventure in a few months.
I am also taking ballet classes and it's great exercise. I am tutoring two students in English. I have also been writing a ton. My third book, Brooke's Sweet Valentine, will be released before the end of the month.
I'm excited for my goals and for the rest of the year!

Moments to Remember: December 2017

December was festive with Santa, lights, Christmas cookies, snow, and the Nutcracker! We went to Candy Lane in Hershey with some of our best friends and had a blast! Eliza and I saw the Nutcracker. She is very excited to start ballet in January. We had a nice Christmas until we all got slammed with the flu the day after. Our trip to Ohio unfortunately got canceled and we are getting ready to have our first New Years ever with just our family. With the canceled trip, we've gone to Ikea and bought several storage containers. We are getting organized for the new year! I'm excited to write out my new goals for the year.
Happy New Year!
