Nauvoosungirl Discourses: May 2017

This month has been a blast as we have celebrated Kenny's 29th birthday, had a 2.5 week trip in Ohio, and have worked on several creative projects.

Kenny turned 29; last year before he's 30! We got him some gymnastic rings to keep him company while Eliza, Joseph, and I went to Ohio. When we got back, we celebrated with going out of the town and then I made him a chocolate pudding cake and we watched some of our favorite sitcoms (this is our life).

In Ohio, we hung out with family and spent a lot of time with Nana, which was so fun! Eliza just loves Nana, Grammy, and Papa. She also bonded with her cousin Loralee who is only six months younger than her. We also got to see Lauren, Philip, Jack, Lillia, Auntie, Uncle Tim, Raquel, Alex, Kaue, Maiara, Kiera, Katrina, and Ms. J!

I took a trip to my childhood as Caroline and I took Eliza to kiddie land at Kings Island. She rode and loved all the same rides I used to ride, like the kiddie coaster. Then we got delicious blueberry ice cream. Lauren, Caroline, and I had some sister bonding time riding the big rides after taking the kids back. The weather was PERFECT. I'm always too hot at Kings Island and we only needed a sweatshirt all day. I'll never go in the heat again.

I had so much fun with baby sis, Caroline, who was getting ready to graduate. We saw Beauty and the Beast and went to Kings Island with Lauren. We also made the tradition of getting matching socks, cupcakes, and Chipotle together. Her song was just incredible at her senior concert; I'm so glad I got to see her perform. I'm going to miss her so much when she leaves on her mission!

Lauren and I had a lot of fun going on walks talking and taking the kids to the park. We went to Olive Garden for her birthday as well. They were both so kind to read my story. My sisters are just the best! We missed Mere.
I've decided as of yesterday that I want to learn to draw. Imanerd and love graphic novels and want to make my own. I took a few days break from the children's chapter book I'm writing and wrote 23,000 words of another book. I'm hoping to finish the first draft of that soon. The children's chapter book is almost done and will hopefully be available soon. Sara and I are ecstatic! Kenny and I will hopefully be shooting our letter "X" video this weekend. We'll start posting once we get to "A." We're having so much fun with all this creative energy! Hopefully we don't burn out.
