Ohio Party

Luke turned 30, so the whole family got together to party. Before the big party Friday, we were surprised to find Meredith jumping out at us in Dad's trunk, and then the next night, Lauren and Philip walked through the door and surprised us. About half of us enjoyed taking Luke to some favorite childhood spots on Thursday: Marion's Piazza and ToysRUS. Later, we took the babies to see the new pet movie (Eliza didn't do as well as I expected). Then Friday, the day of the party, we covered Luke with onions and carrots to prepare him for the "roast" he wanted at his party that night.
The birthday party began with celebrating Logan turning three with gifts and a pinata. We had pizza and "roasted" Luke before he roasted us all back. Then we had a dance party and cake.
The next morning, the girls in the family got together with muffins and herbal tea and some beautiful baby gifts (Hailey and I are due just a month apart!) Then we all had a blast at Nana's pool.
Apart from our wonderful family time, Eliza and I got to have some park/play time with Katrina, Carson, Gracie, and Noelle. They are just too cute together! And I was so happy for Eliza to meet Denna (a.k.a. one of the coolest!).
After two weeks of fun, I was ready to get home and pack, but I'm already wanting to visit again. Until Christmas (but hopefully Thanksgiving)!!
